About me
My career began in the field of clinical psychology, where I worked as a psychotherapist in a variety of contexts, from interventions in indigenous communities to private practice. In each of these experiences, I have dedicated myself to understanding and analyzing people's emotional and behavioral needs, designing personalized interventions to improve their well-being.
The Connection between Psychotherapy and UX
My transition to UX was not a radical change, but rather a natural evolution. A deep understanding of human behavior, empathy, and the ability to analyze patterns and needs are skills that I apply directly to user experience design. I have brought these skills to the digital realm, focusing on how people interact with products and services, and how these can be optimized to offer a more intuitive and satisfying experience.
In my role as a Social Psychology Researcher at the University of the Americas, I acquired essential skills in qualitative research, project planning and execution, and data analysis. These skills are fundamental in UX, where user research and data analysis inform human-centered design decisions.
During my time as a Private Psychotherapist, I managed a digital platform for online psychological care. This experience provided me with a practical understanding of usability and user interface challenges, and how to design solutions that facilitate interaction and improve the user experience.
What I Offer in UX
I am committed to a human-centered approach, using my personal experience in psychotherapy to develop solutions that truly resonate with users. My goal is to design experiences that are not only functional, but also connect with people emotionally.
